Mirrorglass: Moving Forward After Lineup Changes
In August 2024, Mirrorglass experienced a major internal shift when three of our members— Rowan Davis, Oisín Hilton and Shane Galligan, —departed the band.
Their departure, coming at a critical moment, led to the cancellation of two shows and forced a delay in the release of Mirrorglass’ debut album, which had been scheduled for September 13th, 2024.
The situation was far from ideal, but it was necessary to pause, regroup, and re-establish the foundation of what Mirrorglass stands for.
Drumlinia Music/Media Industry Day: A New Chapter Begins
In October 24th, 2024, Mirrorglass returned to the stage at Drumlinia Music/Media Industry Day. This show was more than a performance—it marked a turning point. Taking the stage that day, alongside Joshua Bowles, were:
-
Jack Bogue (on bass guitar)
-
Paul Jackman (on drums)
-
Vay (on keyboard)
Their presence brought a new energy and clarity to the music. That performance represented not only the ability of people to come together, but a creative momentum, that has carried on since.
The Road Ahead
The album, “Handle With Care”, as many of you know, was remade. Every track was revisited with fresh perspective and sharper intent. New tracks were brought into the fold, including “Wasted Time” written in September 2024 and released in February.
While delays are never easy—for artists or fans—we’re incredibly proud of where we are and where we’re going. What started as a setback became an opportunity to make the record Mirrorglass was always meant to release.
To everyone who has stood by us through this turbulent chapter: thank you. Your support, patience, and belief in what this project represents means more than you know. We’re moving forward—and not looking back.
